1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BuildScope (“the Service”), operated by Evant Group Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BuildScope is a web-based quoting and invoicing tool designed for UK builders, contractors, and tradespeople. The Service includes AI-powered quote generation, manual quote building, invoice creation, customer management, and PDF document generation.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to Pro features. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial period, your account will revert to Lite mode unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at £29/month or annually at £279/year. Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. After cancellation, your account will revert to Lite mode and you will retain access to your data.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into BuildScope, including quotes, invoices, customer information, and business details. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

You may export or delete your data at any time. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

7. AI-Generated Content

BuildScope uses artificial intelligence to generate quote estimates including material quantities, labour estimates, and pricing. AI-generated quotes are provided as a starting point and should always be reviewed and adjusted by you before sending to customers.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated quotes. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all quotes before they are sent to your customers. Material prices, labour rates, and quantities are estimates and may not reflect current market conditions.

8. Material Prices

Material prices shown in BuildScope are sourced from publicly available trade pricing and are provided as a guide only. Prices may not reflect current stock availability, regional variations, or trade account discounts. You should always verify pricing with your suppliers before committing to a quote.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: send fraudulent quotes or invoices; violate any applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service; or resell access to the Service without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evant Group Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to provide notice of planned downtime where possible.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is the property of Evant Group Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
